How I Found The Scene

I found out about the scene through one of the most unusual ways—

I was searching for what the most decent radio station in Brisbane is, because I was bored of the regurgitated pop music commercial radio played, and its lack of anything great.

I stumbled upon this forum post, which said that 4ZZZ was the way to go. So I checked out 4ZZZ, on the first listen this was my reaction: "What the fuck is this?"

So I checked their Instagram and Facebook. Turns out they run carpark gigs, and when I searched up videos of those gigs, I saw this band called "Piss Off". They were screaming and were clearly a crappy band, but I decided to search for their music.

One song of theirs matched what they performed. It was a song called "The Lob". It was literally a song about hating a teacher, and I liked it. It was so bad, it was actually good.
