After Antidismal's Salt Skateshow, we were able to interview a trio who call themselves 'Rascals', along with local musician Harper Thomas and scene member Theo.
Describe the pure carnage which you just saw. Like Ixaras and all those people.
Mattie: I actually love her. She's actually an icon to me.
Do you think that Ixara is a punk rocker?
Gemma, Mattie and Matilda: She's a punk rocker.
What do you think of the scene? How long have you people been in it?
Gemma: This is my second time.
Matilda: Same.
Mattie: I like went to a show in grade 10, and then I didn't go to any, and then I went to a few this year, and I just want to get into it again.
How did you hear about the scene?
Gemma: She told me.
Mattie: I think it was through Project Punk. Like when that started up,
Oh, you know Shock Value? You love them? Under the red flag? You know it?
Mattie: Ummhmm, yeah.

Mattie: I don't really know much though, to be honest.
Do you love the scene? Do you live and die for the scene?
Mattie: Yes. It's all I think about everyday.
How do you feel about being a young person in a music scene?
Mattie: Makes you feel included because people all come together.
Are there alternative people in your school and if so how did you meet them?
Gemma: [unintelligble] Sasha come to you?
Mattie: What?!

Matilda: What she say?
Mattie: Oh alternative people? I heard a ton of people. No. Not where we are

How did you all meet? How did your friend group start?
Gemma: We went on a trip.
Harper: What's going on here?

Harper: Have you guys read Breakbone zine? Zine?
Mattie: I follow.
Harper: You know I feel like it's really insightful.
There's something.
Harper: There's something in us. Issues.
Twink Central: Something amazing, you know?

Mattie: That'd be cool. We might take that idea. Actually. That's actually a better name. I think we might change our name.
